One of Woodson Chapel’s greatest assets is its Fellowship Committee, led by Buddy Jones. This group of dedicated men and women shop for food for fellowship gatherings, set up tables and chairs in the fellowship room, cook and serve the meals, and clean up after the meals are finished. Most of the members of this committee have served in their roles for many years. They give up several of their nights and Saturdays in order to make certain that the 200 – 300 Woodson members who regularly enjoy our fellowship meals can do so without thought or preparation. There is no greater example of love and service to Christian brothers and sisters than that demonstrated by the members of the Fellowship Committee.
Congregational fellowship meals occur regularly throughout the year. Typically, three or four of the meals are just simply “eat and enjoy friends” kind of events. But, each year also has several special events…Grandparents night, Senior Graduation night, and the annual fish fry to name just a few.
If you are already part of Woodson Chapel, or are looking for a place to worship God, please also come and enjoy food and fellowship with us.
