I Corinthians 14:40 states:
“Let all things be done decently and in order”.
The purpose of this ministry is to coordinate all of the worship activities for the Sunday morning and evening services as well as for the Wednesday evening service. It involves selecting men who are willing to assist in leading the worship, making assignments based on the talents of those serving, and providing information to those men concerning their responsibilities. All of this is accomplished in order to provide meaningful and orderly worship services.
There are many opportunities for members to serve the congregation as we strive to worship our God in spirit and truth, including:
- Usher
- Count attendance
- Serve at the Lord's table
- Preside at the Lord's table
- Read scripture
- Make announcements
- Lead singing
- Lead prayer
- Assist with baptisms
- Prepare communion
