Another caring ministry of Woodson Chapel is “Room In the Inn”, a ministry designed to assist the homeless of Nashville. This is a well known local ministry where food, clothing and shelter are provided from November to April each year.
Since 1987 Woodson Chapel has been a part of this city-wide ministry of 156 different congregations. Approximately 6,000 men have been provided food, safe shelter and warm clothes at Woodson during the past 21 years. Each weekend approximately 12 of our members volunteer to serve. These volunteers eat with, study with, and pray with these guests each weekend. Each September, Woodson volunteers sign up for work during the approaching winter.
