Benevolence can be defined in many ways. One church paper describes it as "Helping the Needy and Screening Out the Greedy ". One of the ways Woodson Chapel describes it is assisting and insisting. Every applicant is assisted in different ways. Once assistance has been provided, we then “insist” that they study the Bible. It is our goal to save a soul and to provide a church home for those we assist. As we continue to assist, we will continue to encourage the recipients to consider God's Word.
Woodson Chapel is also involved in aid to children’s homes in Tennessee, Kentucky, Florida and Indiana. Additionally, we provide regular assistance to Lakeshore, Agape, Healing Hands International and Churches of Christ Disaster Relief.
