Since 1880, there has been a faithful group of Christians worshiping in the area formerly known as the Oglesby community. In 1891, at the cost of $300, a white, wood framed building was constructed on the very property that our current church building resides. The past 125 years have seen many changes made to the Church's building and grounds. However, our dedication and devotion to serving and worshiping God in Spirit and in Truth remains a strong constant.
While the descendants of those who first felt the need to establish a congregation of the Lord¡s Church in the area are still with us, our family of believers continues to welcome and minister to people of all ages and walks of life. We want all our members and the surrounding community to know that the Church of Christ at Woodson Chapel is truly "a place for everyone."
God bless,
The Eldership
