Our visitation team ministry is a program where we develop strong Christian relationships within our church family in addition to showing our love and support for others. This program provides a wonderful opportunity to get know other individuals and families within our congregation. This is especially true for those who are new to Woodson Chapel.

 

At the present time, Woodson Chapel has three visitation teams. Each team has monthly get-togethers which include a pot-luck meal and a period of great fellowship. There is also an opportunity to make a visit to someone within our congregation.

 

Visits are generally made to our elderly couples, widows, shut-ins and to those within our congregation who enjoy and have requested visits. There are also opportunities to contact visitors and new members to welcome and encourage them.

 

For children who participate in the visitation program with their parents, and who are also involved in our Lads to Leaders & Leaderettes program, this ministry can help provide credit toward certain goals and can provide loving and giving experiences for them at Woodson Chapel.
